Today Tamaki College came to our school to give out certificates for our participation with them on a project (Moon Rover) we did for 4 days. The year 6's also got certificates for doing gears. We watched a short clip about the Tamaki College scholarship.
For my care award I had to create a poster on Richie McCaw, As you can see I have included his Bio and who he is. Unfortunately he is retiring, He was such a great player.

Here are my comments I wrote to a classmate, someone from my school, my class blog and someone from Glen Brae. Our focus was to give positive feedback and feedfoward. We also had to write something thoughtful and write something that relates to the post.
As you can see I did a unit review which means final test. I got 3 out of 5 that means I got 2 wrong. Next time I need to read the question more carefully
As you can see here I am doing a quiz, I am doing it under a section called advance training. Finishing these will complete a unit for me, so far I have done 2 units and had 3 hours 23 minutes of training.
What is problem solving and does it only happen in maths?
Have you ever wondered what problem solving is?, Well problem solving is when you have an equation/question and you have to use a strategy to solve the equation/question out. It is a very important thing in maths, But it is not only used for maths.
Problem solving can help you in situations... Eg: I had 35$ and I had to pay for the school trip which costs 25$, How much money do I have left and how should I spend that money.
Overall I think problem solving is when you solve out an equation/question using strategies, And that it is not only used for maths, Since it can be used for situations.
Today I wrote a paragraph on what is problem solving and does it only happen in maths. After that I got paired up with Paige and we both checked each others paragraph. We went on the rubric and went to the organization part we then gave each other feedback and feed forward.
Yesterday PBS voted as a school for the new NZ flag. I have made an info graph using google sheets on the results. As you can see The RB Fern (Red and Black Fern) has the most votes and the BW Koru (Black And White Koru) got the least votes.
