Oh s'mar net book Reflection

This year I have found using my netbook to be successful. I have enjoyed using my netbook because........
I can search for information as  there are lots of websites. I don’t need to go to the library and look for books. Using my netbook saves time. I can just search for information such as festivals on my netbook which makes this process faster.

Another thing That I have enjoyed is.......
I don’t need to use my exercise book I can just use my netbook.
I can just press backspace if I make a mistake  and  it will be deleted straight away. I don’t need to rub out and I don’t need to do messy writing. I can chose my font and it is much more neater.

My Barriers are....
My Barriers are when I have connectivity problems and flash problems.

The interest/aspect are..... Using different websites for the Olympics and Celebrations. Miss Paton can give feed back to me and comment to me. I can comment to other people. I can go on fun websites. I have my own Individual blogs and show my family my blog.

Retelling my story on the three little pigs by Ohsmar

One sunny day there were three little pigs that lived with there mum. There mum told them to build their own houses because they were getting too old and it was too crowded.

So they went off to find their own materials and started to build their own houses. The first little pig built his house out of straw. The second little pig built his house out of sticks. The  oldest pig built his house out of bricks.

The next day the big bad wolf came to the first little pigs house and said little pig little pig let me in said the wolf. The first little pig said “not by the hair on my chinny chin chin”. So then the wolf huffed and he puffed  and blew the house down then The first little pig went to the second little pigs house and quickly went inside. So the wolf said little pig little pig let me in but the second little pig said “not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”. So the big bad wolf puffed and he huffed and blew the house down then the two little pigs went to the oldest little pigs house and the wolf said little pigs little pigs let me in but the oldest little pig said not” by the hair of my chinny chin chin so the wolf puffed and he huffed but he couldn’t blow the house so he said i will climb up your house and then he did and then he falled in the house but the oldest little pig put a pot of boiling water and opened it and down came the wolf into the pot. After they cooked him for dinner The end.

Easy Maths by Oh s'mar

Easy maths

1. 0 time tables
I work out my 0x table by adding by adding a ‘o’ to the number for example.
0x 1=0
0x10=0
0x100=0

1.  10 times tables
I work out my 10x table by adding by adding a ‘o’ to the number for example.

6 x 10= 60
7 x 10= 70
8 x 10= 80

2. 5 times tables
I work out my 5x table by adding by adding a ‘o’ to the number for example.
5 x 5= 25
5 x 6= 30
5 x 12= 60
5 x 10= 50

3.  2 times tables
I work out my 2x table by adding by adding a ‘o’ to the number for example.
2 x 2= 4
2 x 8= 16
2 x 9= 18

How to work out my nine time tables
1. fingers
Bend the finger that 9 is timesing. Eg. 9x4. Bend 4th finger from left. Now count fingers in tens from the left of the bent finger (30) count in ones to the right of the bent finger (6) answer is 36

2.     10x - the number  minus the number.
e.g. 9x 4 =?
10x 4 = 40 just minus the 4 and the it equals 36 so 9 x 4= 36
9x 6 =? 10 x 6 = 60 and then minus 6 and it = 54 so 9 x 6 =54

3. breaking up. break into times tables i know
9 x 6=?
9 x 3= 27
9 x 3= 27 + 27 =54

4. count in 9s
9, 18, 27, 37, 46........

My amazing time at Eastern Beach, By Oh S'mar

My time at Eastern beach

On Monday February 27th 2012 the whole of Panmure Bridge School went to Eastern Beach. Miss Paton called out the roll then went over the rules, then we lined up. Once we arrived to Kings Road we waited for the bus to arrive. It took 15 minutes. Then finally the bus arrived and we went on the bus. Me and
Jacob played I dare you. I won every time but he won only once. Then we arrived. Once we arrived we had morning tea. I ate cookies then Mr Johnston called the Juniors off to swim. So I went and played hit and roll. I bowled it and Raymond hit the ball with the bat. I caught the ball and I threw the ball at the bat but I missed. Then I went to play T-ball and then Mr Johnston called out life jackets for Room 8. Room 8 rushed to put their life jackets on and ran to the water. I was so worried that I wouldn't swim. Then I went to play with Jacob. We played volleyball. I won the game then we played again but I lost. Then Mr Johnston called out Room 7 for life jackets and they rushed into the water. It was nearly our turn to use the life jackets, so I ate a little snack and then I played cricket. Mr Johnston called Room 5 to put on their life jackets. I rushed into the water with my life jacket. Then I floated on my front and back. Mr Johnston said to go deeper so we all went deeper. We saw Ms Kirkpatrick. She was in the canoe. We touched the canoe and Mr Johnston called Room 6 to put on their life jackets so we took off our life jackets. We went for a swim, once I got out of the water. Then we had lunch. I ate some Noodles and then I played baseball. I had the bat so Raymond bowled the ball. I hit the ball very very far then I hit it again. I hit the ball so he bowled it again. Then I hit the ball again but he caught the ball so I gave him the bat. I went and got some fruit so I ate it. Then Mr Johnston said we can swim again, so we went to get changed and then rushed into the water. I was laying with Jacob and I played run in the water. Then we went to get changed. It was home time so we lined up and did the roll. After that we had some fruit. I had an apple and then we went on the bus. Once we arrived we got our bags and then the bell rang and we went back home. Once I was at home a felt that I wanted to go again.
